Vacation in Banff, Canada

My wife, daughter and I are here in Banff, Alberta, Canada this week. We have spent much of the time in the shadow of Cascade Mountain (pictured). The mighty works of God speak volumes here. Whether its the delicate, yet providential ecosystem, the contemplation of the life cycle of a mountain, or a tour of the night sky, so many degrees north of South Florida, this was a great place to bring our daughter to get a head start on her homeschooling. A hike around Lake Minnewanka even placed in my head a poem called "Pilgrimage" that I am refining to share here soon. Jason of Societyvs said Banff was beautiful and he was right.

I knew you would like that environment - I am glad that you came out...I personally appreciate you for that perspective you bring to life - and for visiting us in Canada. Thanks!
How is the "Land of the Living Skies"? Have to visit there one day.
Saskatchewan - yeah - we have a long running joke here - you could watch your dog run for days since the plains is 'so flat'. I like Saskatchewan - it's my home - and the people here are very 'down to earth'.
